House and Door Colors
When it comes right down to it, a house is only as good as its front door. The front door color is one of the things noticed by people walking by the house on the sidewalk and the combination of different front door colors produces a final effect that in many ways is the first thing to get judged about a house.
While a good color for front door operations on your house will not ensure that it looks good, choosing a bad color for front door operations will ensure that your house is sunk in visual goodness before it even gets off the ground.
Home’s Style
You are also going to want to consider your home’s style when choosing a front door color. For example, if you live in a cottage style home, a lime green front door may not be the best choice for your home. Look through magazines to get an idea of what works for your home’s style and what does not. After you get a good idea of what works you should be able to decide for yourself what other colors you should eliminate.

Decorating With Photos
The photos can become the best ally when decorating a home environment. It is true that there are many ways to place the photos on a table or wall tiles of all shapes, sizes and colors can be useful, however, can do without them and achieve a modern and elegant style.
To begin, we have this grid ideal for photos or dining room. Do is very simple, it first determines the size that will function space in which to place it. Then on a timber with the size, put the photos of your choice, and leaves a gap between them.
This will serve to place the strips of wood that will frame for photos. Place the strips in the spaces left, you can do with rubber, but we recommend that you put a few small brads. Ready, a box of photos that show a part of your life and give a special touch to the place where you put.

Paper Made House
Paper House:
Now this time I’m not suggesting we should go build our house out of recycled paper – at least, not without an engineer’s knowledge of materials and how to adapt them to building techniques.
But I do suggest that we could all be inspired by this structure.
One, we can learn – or remember, because we already know it – the all-important concepts of reuse, rethink, recycle… and “rethink” is a real important part of that trio.
Take a look at some of the stuff you’re about to discard. Some of it can have a new life. Some of it can have a very COOL new life.
And if a building out of recycled paper isn’t in your immediate future – what about an ottoman or footstool, built with “bricks” you made yourself of paper? Or… well, you’ll think of things. Unleash your Mad Creative Scientist and make something for yourself!
Invented by Gerd Niemoller, the Universal World House measures 390 square feet, weighs about 1,763 pounds, and is built to last for generations. (more…)

Small Tree House Idfeas for Your Kids
Small tree house:
If you’ve got kids and a yard, you’ve likely thought about finding an outdoor play structure.
Although many parents think that a small backyard means there isn’t room for an outdoor play structure, the opposite is true. Many companies that make play structures have recently begun focusing their efforts on smaller structures that take up less yard space and parents are responding.
Whether you’re looking for a swingset, a tutor saliba play house or a tree house, you can rest easy knowing there’s a structure for every size backyard.
It’s a common-sense rule of treehouse construction: Make it lightweight. So I felt some stirrings of anxiety when the stocky, bearded sawmill owner pulled up to the house with a flatbed trailer stacked with oak timbers.
Full of water, densely grained and smelling like bourbon, the rough-cut framing lumber I’d ordered spanned 18 feet and looked like bridge supports. As we offloaded the first 2 x 8, each of us taking an end in hand, I smiled doggedly to mask the strain I felt. He peered over the garden fence past the lilac bushes, and politely asked,
“What kind of treehouse are you building?” (more…)

Pyramid Shape House
Pyramid House :
The Pyramid shape is close to being the perfect shape;
some will even claim it has special powers in the shape itself, having an energy field, while others feel it is a symbol of power. Regardless of what others make of it, our concept is to have a very solid building where one person can defend it and be safer than in any other above ground building, including the Domes.
Even if Domes are stronger when built to the same standards, they are harder to defend by one person.
There are a few Pyramids out there, with some being built out of wood and others being impractical and too small, or poorly designed.
Our Pyramid is unique with many exclusive features not found in any other pyramid. Not only is it completely fireproof, it will resist any tornado, or hurricane with ease and will withstand even a large earthquake without any serious damage, even something above a 9 on the Richter scale, as it will jump, slide and move around while staying mostly intact and livable.
This is because it is built as a one-piece structure, and it will even resist an explosion blast at close distance, even a nuclear one, (more…)

Glass House
The Glass House or Johnson house, built in 1949 in New Canaan, Connecticut,
was designed by Philip Johnson as his own residence and is widely considered to be a masterpiece in the use of glass.
It was an important and influential project for Johnson and for modern architecture.
The building is an essay in minimal structure, geometry, proportion, and the effects of transparency and reflection.
The estate includes other buildings designed by Johnson that span his career.
The house builds on ideas of German architects from the 1920s (“Glasarchitektur”). In a house of glass,
the views of the landscape are its “wallpaper” (“I have very expensive wallpaper,” Johnson once said.
Johnson was also inspired by the design of Mies van der Rohe’s Farnsworth House. Glass House contains several pieces of furniture designed by Mies.
Their homes are full of inherited pieces, not newly purchased furniture suites. (more…)

Smallest Homes in the World
Smallest Homes:
On the outskirts of Sebastol, this small house has been a childhood dream for artist builder Jay Shafer that created it. The entire house has only 96 square feet, basically smaller than most of people’s bathrooms. It is equipped with a stainless-steel kitchen, customized storage and has a classy wood interior.
The artist’ next dream is to create a community of such small houses, connected by walking paths, having the same shrunk size as the homes.
McMansions, move over! When it comes to innovative design, thin is in. Around the world and throughout history, homes have sprouted under even the tightest of space constraints—and we have found 12 awe-inspiring houses to prove it.
Fitting life within an arm span of space requires exceptional ingenuity and sound space planning. But these slim spaces show that a little problem solving can yield structures with unique beauty, inventive materials, and quite a story.

You know the saying Think outside the box, well in this case that would be impossible. (more…)
